We have a problem, a workstations that were configure GFI EPS v. 4 was broken and we reinstall it with out uninstall the GFI-EPS Agent, now we have this computer on the list of equipments controlled.

How can I remove this computer with out uninstall?

Hi gcamacho_ec,

1. Open the following file in Notepad: ...Program Files\GFI\EndPointSecurity 4.0\Data\toolcfg_computers.xml.
2. Search for the computer's hostname.
3. Delete the section that begins with <Computer> and ends with </Computer> ONLY FOR THE COMPUTER YOU ARE REMOVING.
4. Open the console and the computer should be gone.

 
This should work (in fact it does, I have tested it myself before posting it).
