Hi
I am using GFI faxmaker 12 with th brooktrout tr1034 board and i am recieving the msg
"" handshaking failed 54""

can you pls help

Is this a recent error or has it been going for some time? How often do you see this error (percentage)? Are you getting this error on send, receive, or both? Any recent telephony environment modifications that you are aware of? Do you have any other fax machines that reside on these lines? I'm assuming this is an Analog environment from your other forum postings.

Thanks for the reply
This is a recent error , 20% in sending faxes , no modification no fax machines on the same lines and yes it is analog environment

I would suggest upgrading to FAXmaker 14 and upgrading your drivers for the TR1034 board. If issues persist, we can go about testing in the Diagnostic tool for this board provided by Dialogic.

Once you upgrade to FAXmaker 14, you can open a new case here: www.gfi.com/supportform if handshaking failures continue.
