error 1923

Status: offline 		I would to upgrade my GFI Mailsecurity, in gateway mode, from ver.10 build 20060721 to last build 20080614, but ihave a problem. This error is displayed and the installation abort:

Error 1923. Service GFI Content Security Auto-Updater Service (msecavupdate) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficent privileges to install system services.

And, of course, i tryed upgradig with an administartive account, used in the others installations/upgrades.

The op. sys. is Windows 2003 server std service pack 2.

Please, help me.

It sounds like the service did not properly uninstall.  If you go to HKLM > System > CurrentControlSet > Services and search for the service name (you can get the .exe from the properties of the service in your services console) for every GFI MailSecurity or GFI ContentSercurity service still listed in the services console what do you see?  You may need to remove these keys manually from the registry to remove the services left behind and then restart the server.  After this is done try to run the build upgrade again.  As always when dealing with the registry I would suggest backing up the registry after making any changes.
