for some reason some external emails sent to certain local users are also being sent to other users.
this is with ME 12 setup in AD mode.
Any idea how to troubleshoot this routing issue?

I would first confirm what happened in Exchange by running message tracking on those specific messages and go from there.

checked the tracking and it looks like exchange is routing the message to both mailboxes. this started after I installed gfi.

Do you have any Mail Monitoring rules enabled?
