Hi,

MARC install with SQL.
The following error message:
======================
GFI MailArchiver failed to transfer the archived emails into the backend database.

The following error message was reported:
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8018
======================

Anyone knows what's going on?

ufgeorge,

Are you running anti-virus or backup software on the same machine as GFI MailArchiver? Third party anti-virus and backup software make MailArchiver mal-function because they deny MailArchiver access to certain files (normally emails).

Can you please disable this kind of software from scanning the MailArchiver directory and the <:\Program Files\Common Files\GFI>

Do you have any Firewall which could be blocking the connection?

Could you also run a netstat -abno in CMD to see if any other application is using port 8018.

Regards,
Ben Vincenti
