Greetings.
Is there any way to stop GFI from putting the email address at the start of the subject line?
I have all detected spam sent to spamfilter@domain.com and then sort through and forward the ones incorrectly captured. Sorting by subject line allows me to delete mass quantities of spam without having to ready each and every subject (hundreds). With the persons address place at the beginning, this rapid sort and delete feature is denied me.

When you forward the detected spam to another (dedicated) address the original recipient's address is indeed added to the subject of the mail.
Unfortunately there is no way of disabling this. This has been done on purpose to make it easier to see to whom the e-mail was addressed.
This functionality has been implemented some years ago after numerous Feature Requests for this.

In my Microsoft Exchange/Outlook world, I cannot call this "feature" a function that makes things "easier".
Email forwarded to my spamfilter is viewed in an Outlook account.
Within Outlook (and I assume MOST email programs), I already have a column called "TO" which displays whom the original message was intended, except for those times the message was part of a list server or from an undisclosed recipiant (the "TO" sorts them as well). This makes your "feature" redundant and unnessisary in 95% of the cases.
The prepending of the subject line should be toggleable on or off, period.
My appologies for the rudeness, but my dander is up, and I do not appreciate having software creates a greater amount of unnessesary work for me, and then being told it is a "feature" I must live with.
I hold higher hopes for GFIs future, but not at the expence of my time. Please address this issue as soon as possable.

I understand the frustration with this matter. Currently there is not a way to toggle this off. I have submitted a Feature Request regarding this functionality. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that your feature request will be added to a future version of the product, but it will be reviewed during the design process and possibly implemented. I fully agree with you Vince!
I have searched and searched for a resolution to this as well, even if it was more of a hack than a real solution such as a checkbox to toggle it.
So far by editing portions of the Strings.xml I have been able to get small amounts of what GFI adds to the subject line to go away. However, this is of course not useful.
One work around that I have toyed with is using a program called outlookFiller (http://bitdaddys.com/outlookfiller.html). It is a small, cheap ($12) program that imports .eml files into an Exchange account. It works pretty well. However, it seems silly to have to manually do this type of import from the GFI .eml spam archive into an Exchange account to simply have an unmodified copy of the original email.
If any of you guys discover or create any other workarounds, please be sure to post it to the forms.

We are a dealer and all of our customers are annoyed about the subject line since it is almost impossible to find "good mail" in a forwarded filtering system. GFI has to become more flexible and the support has to be faster please.

As I stated above this has been added as a feature request for GFI MailEssentials. This does not mean that this feature will be implemented but these requests are looked at carefully when deciding on what to include in future builds.
