Does attachment checking rule checks headers of attachments or just extensions?
I want to stop wmv files and I sent one as a txt file. It just went out.

Hi,

Attachment checking does check for both the file header and the file extension. However it can only identify a limited ammount of file-types from the file header - the ones which are most malicious, and some others like mp3, doc, xls, zip etc. Wmv i not a file-type that MailSecurity currently identifies from its file header.
