I'm running the latest beta of WebMonitor version 3 with ISA Server 2004 on a 2Mb leased line. Everytime a query is made to Yahoo for the Adult checker it times out with the message
Time out... 2 Check timeout(19000ms.). +

Can anyone suggest any fixes?

Beta build contain also .Hta application which you can use to test manually SiteChecking or to make new script.

run this application from WebMon program files directory and test it there. You might see more reasons why it timeouts + you can trace request if it really fails.

But first try to connect search.yahoo.com.

If not enable debug and after some timeouts for new sites in WebMon, send me webmonsrvlog.txt
from debuglogs directory.
