Why does this happen? - 6.Jul.2001 9:57:00 PM

I do a Ping sweep on range 192.0.34.1 - 192.0.34.254 and I will get a list of computers. Three of the computers are win98 and have netbios enabled and I'm able to crack the pw for 192.0.34.210. When I try to connect I get an error "the network name can not be found. The computer dosn't show up unless I do I ping sweep. Is the server configured to accept only certan IP's or somthing?
