I read through the documentation and ma not clear on what happens to copies of internal, inbound and outbound mail that was collected through journaling. It looks like it is copied to the SQL database, not moved. Is this the case? If so, can the product be set to move (keeping the public folder that catches the mail empty) so that the Exchange Store does not get bogged down with archived mail? If not, does this have to be done periodically to keep the store from being nearly double in size to what is actually required?

PaulD,

Once the mails are moved to the Archive database, the copy of the mail sent to the mailbox, which is catching all inbound/outbound/internal mail, is cleared. The archive mailbox does not keep a copy of all archived mails.
