Jordan,
Currently the way that GFI Network Server Monitor is implemented requires the user to use UNC paths when executing a program when the rule fails. You can easily call an application on the local machine using administrative shares (e.g. \\127.0.0.1\C$\...)
The use of UNC paths should be removed in the next version of GFI Network Server Monitor.
If you would like to execute programs and commands on a remote machine, you can make use of a utility from www.sysinternals.com called psexec. [ September 02, 2004, 09:38 AM: Message edited by: nicks ]
