What does it do anyway? I did a backup of my drive, about 20gb of files. Looks like it created the zip file, but the verify process just made the app hang at 99% for an hour before I terminated it. I've always used some kind of built in verify in other backup aps and found some sense of security in seeing a positive result from them. Turning off the verify in order to make the backup finish cleanly seems like the thing to do with this app. So, what's the point of having a verify function?

Hello WayneM This feature is there with the purpose of verifying that the data has been written on the destination location without error. If you don't want to do that, just uncheck the option. It is quite possible, for large amount of data, the verification operation will take a long time.

I encountered the same thing also and waited for more than an hour, actually, until I interrupted it, disabled it, and start all over again. So far, my datas looks good. Christine
