My Webgrade database is not auto-updating.  The database is licenced, and the server can access the internet, and all the GFI sites are whitelisted, however when you do an update (Manual or Automatic), the update fails with a: 404 Not Found error.  It's a new install, and there are no Web Filtering policies active.

Any ideas why the update cant find the server?

Try to look through the log files -- WebMonitor's and ISA's.

\Program Files\GFI\WebMonitor\DebugLogs\WebMonSrvLog.txt  is the right one. If you need more information you can turn the debug mode in the registry:
\HKLM\SOFTWARE\GFI\WebMonitor\Debug (create the key if it doesn't exist) and set DWORD value = 1, than restart WebMonitor.

Here's my piece of log WebMonSrvLog.txt :

This actually sounds like a licensing issue.  Login to http://customers.gfi.com and verify the license key in the software matches the latest license key your product is using.
