Just an FYI to anyone out there that might have run into something similar, I applied the July Microsoft security updates to the mail relay server. Following that, every hour I got notification that ALL updates failed. After 6 hours of uninstalling, reinstalling MailSecurity, checking my ISA logs (following the update, the updater was trying to use the webproxy service and getting a 407 unauthorized, when it wasn't set to use a proxy at all and didn't need to use one), I finally uninstalled the .NET 1.1 Security Patch and my MailSecurity installation began updating properly immediately upon reboot. I know there have been a wide number of reported problems with this update, apparently my GFI installation was affected by it as well.

I was trying to follow the step in the kbase article http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002668 but I do not have the following file on the server. ContentSecurity\ContentSecurity.AutoUpdater.service.exe.config I was attempting to follow these steps as I am having a problem with the downloading of updates also.
