This thread contains information regarding the changes within the various builds of the GFI FAXmaker 14.3. Detailed information on each individual build can be found in the posts below.

This is the release build of GFI FAXmaker 14.3. Changes within this release include:

NEW: Support for Unicode SMS.
NEW: Ability to configure sending lines for users and groups.
NEW: Consistent filenames for faxes across all archiving locations.
NEW: Improved fax quality especially when sending scanned images.
NEW: Support for new fax modems ( Multitech 9xxx series, Comtrol Rocketmodem IV ).
NEW: Support for new GSM modems ( Multitech MTCBA-G-F4, Westermo GDW-11 ).
FIX: Faxes may not be processed in the same order as they are submitted.
FIX: Service restart is no longer required when adding a licensed user or a routing rule.
FIX: GFI FAXmaker Monitor may crash if a large number of faxes is currently being processed in the queue ( over 1000 ).
FIX: Coverpage may be populated incorrectly when sending to a public contact whose name or company contain dots.
FIX: Troubleshooter in GFI FAXmaker Client does not run.
FIX: Coverpage configured in GFI FAXmaker Client is ignored and the default is used instead.
FIX: Faxes submitted via NetPrintQueue2Fax are sent with normal resolution, not fine.
FIX: When using Class 1 modems, sent faxes may be truncated.
FIX: Using Microsoft Fax Service on Microsoft Windows 2008 with GFI FAXmaker may not work.

Known issues

Due to certain changes, the SFM ( Server Fax Message ) files produced by this version of GFI FAXmaker are not compatible with the ones of the previous versions. Therefore, when upgrading existing installations of GFI FAXmaker versions 12 and 14.X ensure that there are no outstanding fax jobs.
NetPrintQueue2Fax on Windows 2000 does not support Unicode.

GFI FAXmaker 14.3 Service Release 1 build 20090303. Changes within this release include:

NEW: Localization in Italian and Spanish.
NEW: Support for Brooktrout on Windows Server 2008.
NEW: Ability to configure users for routing from Active Directory rather than from Licensed Users.
NEW: Introduced support for TE-SYSTEMS XCAPI.
NEW: Ability to install Exchange 2007 connectors via installation rather than manually.
FIX: When using TIFF Group 3 format for archiving faxes, faxes are not archived and a failure is reported.
FIX: Attachments with international characters in the filename may not be sent.
FIX: Service restart is no longer required when configuring Archiving and Email2Fax Gateway.

Known issues
NetPrintQueue2Fax on Microsoft Windows 2000 does not support Unicode.

Changes in this release include:

NEW: Localization of GFI FAXmaker ReportPack in German, Italian and Spanish.
NEW: Localization of GFI FAXmaker Client in Arabic, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian and Turkish.
NEW: Support for extended characters in public contacts on Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP1 Rollup 7 and later.
NEW: Support for Brooktrout System Software 6.1.0.
NEW: Improved fax quality when using NetPrintQueue2Fax printer.
FIXED: Faxes sent via XMLAPI are not archived as configured in "Archive to Database" configuration.
FIXED: Success is reported even if an SMS fails to be sent.
FIXED: Test fax cannot be sent if a comma is used in the dial string.
FIXED: Adding a routing rule may require service restart.
FIXED: XMLAPI may fail if the XMLAPI folder is located on different volume that the GFI FAXmaker folder.
FIXED: TextAPI commands in the subject may not be processed if they contain extended characters.
FIXED: Users cannot be added to Licensed Users node if they have "showInAdvancedViewOnly" Active Directory attribute set.
FIXED: Character '@' is not transmitted when sending an SMS.
FIXED: Configuring SMS may fail on Microsoft Windows 2008.
FIXED: GFI FAXmaker Client may crash when saving annotations.

Known issues:
