This is the release build of GFI EventsManager 8.2. Changes within this release include:
  • UPDATED: Optimized Microsoft Windows events scanning performance when using processing rules.
  • FIXED: Event processing does not work correctly in certain situations when processing rules are enabled because the rule processing engine fails to initialize properly.
  • FIXED: Import default settings does not work well.
  • FIXED: Problem getting resource strings when collecting Microsoft Vista events for some machines with OSs with language ID like 0x803.
  • FIXED: When exporting events from the Events Browser to CSV file, duplicate events are exported when the number of events is larger than 10,000.
  • FIXED: There was a daylight saving time issue when parsing the W3C messages. The daylight saving time bias was added to the time in any situation, not only when the DST was active. Because of this, messages generated in the DST period were parsed correctly and messages outside the DST period were off by an hour.
