I need a script to be able to login to a website to verify that not only is the site up, but that it is functioning correctly. I am no scripting guru and need some help. Thanks.

GFI Network Server Monitor offers Web Checks which verify that a site is active and a specified word or phrase is on the page.

This functionality is great, however it does not appear that the Monitor is actually logging into the site to do the check. I have intentionally put in wrong credentials and I am getting a success message when I dry-run. I want to make sure that users can log into the site. Thanks.

I believe I have figured out that the problem is the default field name that GFI is looking for to input the username and password are not how the web site is configured. Is there a way to change the field name that GFI NSM is looking for?
