Upgraded keys to ME14, but still on ME12

Status: offline 		So I upgraded the keys on my customer area of GFI with the understanding I am unable to go back.  I however have not yet installed ME14...My question is this:  If I upgrade the keys, does ME12 that I'm currently running, run in a reduced capacity as if I was running in a demo mode?

I will be moving to 14, but wanted to gauge how the process is going for folks before doing that upgrade.  I just want to make sure that I'm not under any time requirement to upgrade the program because I updated my keys.
