I'm running FAXmaker for Exchange v10 in a Small Buisiness Server 2000 environment.

I'm having a problem where a fax is being continually forwarded to the administrators mailbox. To clarify, I received a fax yesterday at 2pm. By 5pm I had 2800 instances of that fax sitting in my (admin) inbox. This is also occuring to any user listed in the "receive all faxes" configuration.

Looking in the FAXmaker receive log I see that FAXmaker is forwarding this fax as an email every 2 seconds to the administrator address.

To stop this process I had to stop the FAXmaker Exchange Connector Service on the server. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we are currently only receiving faxes via the "old method" of using a regular fax machine.

With the FAXmaker services stopped, check the contents of the FAXmaker\In directory. If you have any files in this directory, delete them. Delete also any files in the FAXmaker\In\process directory.

To avoid this issue from happening again, ensure that the FAXmaker FAX sercver service is running under the Administrator account. Ensure also that there is no anti-virus software scanning the FAXmaker directories.
