Hi,

i am Using Faxmaker 12 on a Win2003 machine. Users report that after sending a fax sometimes a transmission report is send, sometimes not.
Transmission reports are configured like this:

i am contacting a user to tell me which fax did not send a report to check the logs of the mailserver if there went something wrong.

is there someon who can help me? i dont know where to start searching.

thanks

jws

If a user intermittently receives a Transmission report, then focus troubleshooting on the Exchange server. You may want to enable message tracking. If this user has NEVER received a transmission report, then we need to concentrate on GFI FAXmaker. Has the FAXmaker Administrator received any error reports?

I am having problems with transmission reports as well.  I have narrowed it down to a problem with the ones that failed to complete and are set to redial.  If I set redials to zero, the failed report is sent.  If I have it set to redial, no failed report, no log entry, nothing.  Support has been working on this for over a month and still no fix.  I am using a multitech modem that is listed on their supported devices page.  This is an XP Pro machine with nothing but GFI and Office to do the conversions connected to the Exchange server through the SMTP connector.  Hopefully I can get some support through the forums.

UPDATE:  Support had me change the retry delay back to the default and that fixed my problem.
