We are running ME 14 and have noticed some tagged emails crashing Outlook 2007.

It seems to occur on email that is tagged as spam, and when Outlook attempts to open the message it crashes Outlook. We have seen this with several different users.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Never seen the issue, and given the lack of replies, I don't think others have too, so standard questions for you to consider to narrow it down:

Is it every tagged email or just some?
Is it when the email is fully opened, or just previewed?
Are you using the latest Outlook and Windows patches?
Do you have any non-standard Outlook plug-ins?
If you turn off the tagging for a short while, does Outlook still crash on an obvious spam email?
Whilst I can't recommend it for obvious reasons, if you disable your antivirus, do you still have the same problem?

Thanks RSP!

Just some emails are doing this... very few in fact. It happens with fully patched Outlook 2007 and (I believe) fully patched Windows XP Pro - there are no plugins in Outlook.

I couldn't possibly disable tagging because this particular domain would be crushed - as it is the users are pretty big whiners and complain if they get more than 8 or 10 spams in their inbox.

The AV varies between Trend, Norton and Kaspersky...

AS near as I can tell there is no correlation between teh users other than the emails are HTML and they are tagged as SPAM by MailEssentials.

I'll continue to try to isolate it. It is odd that it is happening with multiple users here and no one on this list seems to be seeing the issues...

Perhaps it is something related to the server.

If I find anything out I'll be sure to post back here.
