I'm a newbie, please be gentle.

I just loaded GFI Languard 9, scanned a cisco router to see which ports are open and the returned results show ports which I know for a fact are not open (21, 80, 3128, and 8080). What gives?

Do you have any AntiVirus software running on the GFI Languard machine? If so, try disabling it and running the scan again.
