Subject based retension policy Wednesday, May 24, 2017 4:16 PM (permalink)
I am trying to create retention policies to not archive emails based on keywords in the subject. For example we have many employees that subscribe to a listserv that tags [MANAGERS] in the subject line. I do not want to archive any emails that contain [MANAGERS] in the subject but other parts of the subject changes. Do retention policies only work if you know the complete subject line? Wildcards don't seem to work either.
Thanks

You should be able to set a retention policy for this.  The * wildcard should also work in the subject line.
