Stop a patch being applied?

We have identified a microsoft patch that is causing Skype for Business to fail on some of our user workstations, this patch is "Update for Skype for Business 2015 (KB3141468) 32-Bit Edition"
Within LanGuard I set this patch to ignore, applied the rule to the Entire Network and set a time span of two months.
However the next time a scan was run on the machines the patch was installed again.
How can I stop LanGuard from installing a patch?
