Hi Rick,

Can you elaborate further on your query?

Which FAXmaker version ?
Which inbox are you referring to?
What do you want to accomplish?

Martijn

Customer wants users to be able to access the inbox on the server. When you create folders on the faxmaker client on the server, it is impossible to see the contents unless you are on the server (tried setting up a share). Client wants users to be able to take fax from inbox process them then save them in another folder on the server. This is faxmaker for smtp version 11.

Rick,

A solution does exist, however, it is not supported by GFI.

Basically, the information on the Personal Folders found in the FAXmaker Manager is found in:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GFI Fax & Voice\Networks Client 7.00\Personal Folders]

Create a test Personal Folder so you can check the format of the registry values created.

You will just need to create a network share, and paste the network part into the value of one of the folders. To ensure that the network path is inserted correctly, try it out by inserting it in the Run command (Start -> Run).

After doing this for one user, you just need to export the registry entry to a .reg file, and import it into the registry of the other users. Ensure that you only export the entry for the shared folder, or you may overwrite the settings of the Personal folders of the other users.
