Status: offline 		2 days ago my logging stopped.
I now see
Syslog server not running
SNMP server is not running

I have rebooted many times and it just wont start.

Any ideas?

Ihave version 8

Status: offline 		R U using an evaluation lic by any chance & the lic has expired?
Did U change any passwords or the account that you used to run ESM v8 got intruder logout?
R U using Windows XP?

Status: offline 		We are running XP but nothing was changed.

I finally uninstalled everything and reinstalled it.  chose a diff database though on install.  It seems to be working again but i sure hope this does not happen again.  I have the old DBs but mounting them is no fun.
