Hi everyone,

maybe I had misunderstood something but I'm curious about the following:

Theres a Exchange 2K3 running on a W2K3 dedicated machine. The exchange DB is nearly 70 GB in size. GFI MARC runs also on a dedicated W2K8 server and is configured to store everything in a SQL 2K8 DB. After importing mostly all e-mails which were stored before GFI MARC was installed the SQL DBs (several DBs configured for each year e.g. 2006, 2007 and so on) exceed more then 100 GB in size?

why?

best regards

integrate.it,

What do the auto growth settings look like on these SQL databases? Are they set to grow by a percentage of the database? This could cause some size discrepancies.

Hi John,

autogrowth is set like recommend. Currently the DBs are configured to grow 100MB if needed.

best regards
