Report MDB database size

Status: offline 		We rarely do any reporting.  The report MDB gets more than 1GB quiet often on a drive with the limited space.  I usually stop all the GFI services and manually delete the *.mdb file.  Is there anyway I can completely shut off the reporting?

Status: offline 		I don't know of a way within ME to disable reporting, perhaps GFI can tell, but I can give you a couple of suggestions:

1. In the Email Management/Reporting node, you can specify a different location for the reporting database, such as a drive with sufficient space.
2. Delete reports.mdb and create a directory called reports.mdb instead, preventing the reports.mdb file from being created.

I haven't tried number 2, and don't know the consequences, but it's easy to back out if it doesn't work. Let us know what you decide.

Status: offline 		You can disable logging to the reporting database. Take a look at http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002693 as it goes over this for you.
