Hello thunder999, Please review the following KB article - http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003125. Also, you want to make sure that File and Print Sharing is enable on the machine you are scanning.

THANKS FOR REPLY!! I tried ALL 4 solutions but no results: - Log on to the GFI LANguard host machine using an alternate Domain Administrator account which has no corresponding local account on the remote computer.
- Change the password of the corresponding local user account on remote computer.
- Delete the corresponding local user account on the remote computer.
- Launch GFI LANguard (lnss.exe) with 'RunAs' using another Domain Administrator account which has no corresponding local account on the remote computer.
THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Hello thunder999, Apologies for the delayed response. For future reference if you have an urgent issue it is recommend that you open a support request here. The first available technician will be able to assist you. The message you previously posted shows the error - No connection, remote registry not available in this computer.= If GFI LANguard cannot connect to the remote registry on the target machine the information that is returned will be very limited. The error is usually displayed when: The remote registry service is disabled on the target computer. A firewall is started on the target computer denying access to EndPointSecurity deployment mechanism. Invalid credentials are issued for the deployment of the Agent on the target computer. NetBIOS is disabled on the remote computer. Possible Solution: Remote Registry Service Ensure that Remote Registry Service is enabled on the target computer: Open the ‘Control Panel’ Select ‘Administrative Tools’ Select ‘Services’ Right Click on the ‘Remote Registry’ Service and select ‘Properties’ Under ‘Startup Type’ select ‘Automatic’ from the drop down menu. Local Firewall If the target computer has a firewall installed locally, ensure that the firewall will allow connections from the machine that is trying to iperform the scan and being scanned. Enable NetBIOS From the target machine, perform the following to enable NetBIOS: 1. Open the properties of the network card. 2. Open the properties of ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’ 3. From the General tab, click on the ‘Advanced’ button. 4. Change to the ‘WINS‘ tab. 5. Select the option ‘Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP Test Connection of Remote Registry You are able to test if you are able to connect to the Remote Registry service of the target computer from the GFI LANguard server by performing the following: Click on ‘Start’ and select ‘Run’ Type “regedit” In the Registry Editor select ‘File’ and then click on ‘Connect to Network Registry’ Enter the machine name or the IP Address of the target computer in the ‘Select Computer’ dialogue box and click ‘Ok’ Should the connection of the remote registry be successful, you should be able to browse through the registry of the target machine.

Hello thunder999, Did you upload your troubleshooters and submitted a support request or did you just upload your troubleshooter files? If you just uploaded the files there is no way for us to know that you did this. You will need to first submit the support request and you can then let us know the name of the file that you uploaded. If you did submit a support request online you should have received an email confirmation with a case number in the subject. This case has, or will be, assigned to a tech support rep and you should receive a response within 24 hours of receiving your request.
