Recommended Module Priority Order

Status: offline 		As I scan the forums, I see many DIFFERENT recommended Module Priority Orders.  Although I see people mentioning their priorities, I rarely see the reason WHY.

I would guess that one would want the Whitelist first and then the module that catches the most spam with the least amount of system resources?

Can people explain their order and WHY they have that order and perhaps what orders they've abandoned and why.

I'm sure this information will help everybody.

Status: offline 		I think it all depends on your situation.  I have keyword checking up very high because we've whitelisted a lot of domains for education related email contacts.  Unfortunately spammers have all those address domains too and all the spam was walking right in.  Keyword checking catches quite a bit of stuff for us, but does lead to more false positives.  It's a tradeoff really.

The order module priority changes depending on your situation.  In general the default order with Directory Harvesting moved to position 1 works very well.
