RE: TAPI MODE HAND-OFF

I wish to use faxmaker on the same line as a telephone answering software. The telephone answering software has a TAPI Mode Hand-Off feature which can be used to transfer incoming faxes when an incoming fax call is detected.

Q: Does faxmaker support TAPI Mode Hand-Off ?

Q: If so, can anyone tell me what I need to do to configure it ?

GFI FAXmaker would not support this.  The lines that come in to your modem/board to be used with GFI FAXmaker, should be dedicated, unshared lines.  You do not want any other FAX machines on these lines, or answering machines, because anything else on these lines with pull power from the line if analog, and/or cause receive issues.
