Problem with a re-installed GFI Enpoint Security Server Wednesday, May 11, 2016 12:23 AM (permalink)
I re-installed my GFI Enpoint Security Server and set up the older configurations (server name, IP, SQL config, etc) but I forgot to export the agents configuration from the clients and import in the new server, now the problem Iam having is that the new server apply protection polices over the remote clients but this polices have no effects, I mean that when I block a port and apply the police that port continues able.
Please Anybody help about that.

    Hello azumit2012,
     
    This sounds like a tricky issue.  The way it sounds I'd start with doing a manual uninstall of the agent.  You can get steps by creating a ticket with GFI support.  Once that is done I would deploy the agent to see if the issue persists.

      Hi, I actually removed the agent from the client workstation using the Perfect Uninstaller tool, and after that I saw how the agent was completed deleted from the PC,  but once made that and added the PC again to the GFI Server and deploy the police to the machine the port reminds open.
      Please, I don't know what to do.
