I would like to send Spam detected by ME12 to a separate MA database, so that users have the option of browsing their spam without having it cluttering up the normal MA view. I can direct the spam to a mailbox on a separate, non journalling server but is it possible to configure MA5 to archive that mailbox to a dedicated database without monthly rollovers?

I could then set an expiration rule so the database didn't overflow.

AMacdonald,

The problem that we would run into here is you can only have 1 active database.  You can have multiple mailboxes being polled by GFI MailArchiver for import but these will put the messages into the same database.

Thanks John. Probably a dead idea for now then. It would be good to be able to specify the "current default" database or a particular named database for each journal mailbox. Perhaps a suggestion for a future release?
