Poor KB Articles - Undocumented settings

What does the regkey

check_filesize:drword do its under GFI\ME12\Attcheck

Mine is currently set at 0 ? i can't find a KB article which describes its purpose.


http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003142 does not mention it.

The following article is unclear.

wasn't this supposed to be updated ?

If non-zero, this value specifies the minimum allowed attachment size in KB. If the attachment is below this value, and is one of the file-types listed in file_list, the email will be blocked by the Attachment Checking header check.  By default this is ‘0’, which means that the check is effectively disabled.
If the value is not found, the check is not done.
