Every few days, no rhyme or reason, I get this error: "Mar6Core2 Event ID 6205 Plugin DSScheduler reports exception. Data Sources: Cannot open data source. Additional info: Could not bind to LocalPort" After the error everything freezes. All Exchange services, everything! From Transport to AD Exchange. I have to reboot the server. Running SBS 2008 Exchange 2007 What is going on? How do I stop this, it's becoming extremely annoying.

Which build of GFI MailArchiver are you running? Where is GFI MailArchiver installed? Is it on the same machine as Exchange? If you have GFI MailArchiver on a seperate machine to Exchange, could you kindly ensure that your IMAP service is started in the services console and in Exchange System Manager? What databases are you using, Firebird or SQL? What is the size of your journaling mailbox currently? Are emails leaving the journaling mailbox? Version 20090511 Installed on the same machine as the SBS 2008 which obviously includes Exchange. Firebird database Journaling mailbox empty, stuff leaving just fine. It's the Mar6Core2 service that bombs out and takes the machine down with it.

Hi, Could you check if you have emails in the following folders? ..\GFI\MailArchiver\Core\Pickup ..\GFI\MailArchiver\Core\Queue After restoring the services, if you check the database, are the emails stored in there? Please could you also confirm that the antivirus exclusions are done as described in the following link? http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003311 Also, how do you have configured the email source in MailArchiver? Is it configured to use ExOLEDB or IMAP? Please try to switch this option and check if the problem persist. Regards,
