Hi, We have upgraded from V3 to V4. Love the new interface! Most things imported and applied correctly,.but I have a couple issues/queries. Firstly, the agents never show fully up to date status. Well,... they do for a short time after deployment, but then they gradually go back to requiring update status until, within 1-minute or so, all clients will show as requiring updating. Second thing is users who have a USB printer attached, that used to be able to print with access to printers, now require access to USB as well (it would appear). So,... one machine with a USB printer is now able to print ok... but another one we have will not allow access to the printer. Same spec machines, same model printers. Rather frustrating!!!! Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark.

I am just curious if any one has a fix for this issue. Everything was working fine up until I upgraded to version 4. I have permissions on all USB, Printing, Serial and Parallel, and even other devices and still no luck. I am working with support but if someone else may have an answer, I'm all ears.

- Users will require access to the Port and the Device Category being controlled. For instance, USB Printers require access to the USB Port and the Printers device category
- In regards to the agents reporting 'not-up-to-date' there is a patch for the agent that needs to be applied. This patch can currently only be obtained by opening a support ticket at http://support.gfi.com. It will be released in the next build of GFI EndPointSecurity. The issue does not effect functionality of the agent. It seems to only keep the agents from reporting the correct status.
