Hi All, Patches not downloading in NSS v8.0. Running on Windows Server 2003 with latest patches. All of a sudden, for a while now patches do not download when checked and set to 'download all checked files'. They just sit there saying 'queued for download'. I'm looking at about 20 now in the list. The strange thing is the links seem to be OK, because if you go for a manual download (open web loaction), the files are found. Please help! Regards, Jon.

What account is the GFI Languard service running as? Can you log into the machine as this account and check Internet Exlporer's proxy settings? Also, when you go to the link for a manual download does it take a while to load the page? Are you using IE7?

Hi, Where can I find that out? Opening processes in task manager reveals everything is running as myself apart from a few Windows processes running as 'SYSTEM'. I am logging on using an admin account on corporate network. I have appropriate permissions and have tried another admin account which also has the same result. Proxy is off in IE, version 7. Pages don't take long to load, no.

Can you try these steps to increase IE7's timeout settings: 1. Add a ReceiveTimeout DWORD entry with a value of (<number of seconds>)*1000 in the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings For example, if you want the time-out duration to be 8 minutes, set the value of the ReceiveTimeout entry to 480000 (<480>*1000). 2. Restart the computer. Copied from: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B181050&x=15&y=11

I have entered '480000' into that field. But no effect.
