This thread contains information regarding the patches that have been released for GFI FAXmaker 14.3 Service Release 1 Build 20090303.

Notes:

Unless otherwise specified, all patches listed in this post will be included in newer builds of GFI FAXmaker.
Installation instructions are included with the patch

Patch: FM143_PATCH_20090505_01

Issues fixed:

1. SMS: When sending an SMS, certain characters are converted and displayed
incorrectly. For example, the '@' character is converted into a SPACE.

2. Conversion: When sending a fax to a public contact, a conversion error
(1705) is generated whenever an embedded image (JPG) is included as part
of an email in RTF format.

3. Fax Routing: When adding a routing rule, the GFI FAXmaker services have
to be restarted in order for the change to take place.

4. Archiving: Archiving does not work when XMLAPI is being used.

5. SMS: Successful SMS reports being sent to non-existing mobile numbers.

6. Brooktrout: Brackets/dashes in the FAX number field in Active Directory
cause handshaking failures when utilizing the CLIP feature in FAXmaker.

7. TextAPI: Limitation in number of characters used in filename for TEXTAPI
attachment files.

Issues fixed:

1. Poor quality of inbound faxes when using the GFI FAXmaker driver for
Mainpine IQ Express boards.

2. Inability to open the SMS Properties Dialog Window from the
GFI FAXmaker Configuration. The following error may appear:

Parsing error on line 0 position 0:
The system cannot locate the object specified
