When processing PST files via the Exchange-PST wizard, some messages are being sent to the Unclassified folder, even though we have stores set up for all applicable date periods. Also, the beginning of the file names in the Unclassified folder start with the date that the file was processed, instead of the sent date of the email, as the manual states. It appears that these messages are all for the period from the beginning of the year MA was installed, through the date it was activated. The store for that year (for the import) was originally configured to go THRU the install date & was then expanded to include the whole year, but it still did not work when the Unclassified items were placed back into the queue. We did a test with one email, by adding the store for this year & sure enough, it added it into the current store. When inspecting the email envelope files the messages appear to be from current users, however, the test message into this year's archive shows a sender of '-', which I saw in another posting refers to a user no longer in AD.
Does anyone have any ideas of what is happening?
