If we apply a policy to an unique user all works OK. But if we apply to a group (that contains this same user) it doesn´t work Thx.

what kind of a groups that u created. if u dont have active directory grouping will not work, i think.

Yes, i have active directory, the groups and users appear automatically on the webmonitor, but then this problem occurs. Thx

It seems to be well-known bug with ActiveDirectory access in WebMonitor4, search the forum. It was reported that the bug was resolved but actually it exists.

New build of GFI WebMonitor 4 - Service Release 3 (build 20080609) is out! http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID003348 It's promised that AD issue has been resolved. I'll check it today.

AD group issues have NOT been fixed. We're in day 5 of the trial, were looking to buy for 1000+ users. This is a BIG issue that will block the purchase.

Are you running build 20080609 as a trial? The support team claim this issue has been fixed in this build. Double check this is the one you have, if it is I would advise you to look elsewhere as this has been an ongoing problem now since October last year!

Yes running 20080609 for the trial. I can't see how difficult this would be to fix (or how it could EVER have passed through internal testing). If the group membership can't be obtained via ISA, then a simple ldap lookup would be all it would take I would have thought.

I'm also using 20080609 having the same problem. I have to manually add users or it won't work correctly. This is such a frustration in my situation where I have a rather large number of users and a complicated set of policies.
