Users who do not have elevated rights in GFI are not getting the advanced search capability in the Outlook Connector.
When the select the search under the GFI Mail Archiver folder it is just blank.
Everything else with the Outlook Connect seems to be working as expected.

Is there anything that we are missing that is required to allow everyone to have the expanded search capability with the Outlook Connector?
We obviously don't want them to have access to anyone elses email, just the ability to use the advanced searching options.

Is this Outlook 2007 by chance? If so check out GFI article You cannot add a URL to the Address box on the Home Page tab in Outlook 2007

You can fix via GPO which is preferred or via registry. Follows is the reg key.
