Outlook Connector with Outlook 2010

I’ve tried to install GFI Mail Archiver into a Outlook 2010 installation and it failed with “unsupported version of Outlook” error.
The strange thing is if I installed GFI into Outlook 2007, then upgraded to Outlook 2010 and GFI still worked.
Which makes me think the installation is searching for some variable to check the Outlook version.

We are on MS Office 2010 technical beta program thats why I am asking now.

As you note Office 2010 is still in beta, and as such is still subject to change pending its release next year. We currently support Office 2003 and 2007, and will be officially supporting Outlook 2010 closer to its release.

Status: offline 		We are also using the Outlook 2010 Technical Preview and would be happy to participate in any beta testing you might have for the connector. This would be with the understanding that is an unreleased and unsupported product.

We will be releasing GFI MailArchiver 6.2 in early December so look out for a beta, which includes Exchange 2010 support and new functionality in the Outlook Connector, in mid November.

We will be announcing the GFI MailArchiver 6.2 beta here in the forums so we look forward to your participation!
