MARC 6.1 Build number: 20090511 Outlook Connector 6.0 build number: 20090204 Problem: The date/time of some items, when shown in Outlook using the Outlook Connector, is incorrect. When displaying the same item from the web-interface, it is correct. When the date/time is incorrect, it is either A) 01-01-2008 00:00 or B) 17-07-2009 09:02 Example email 1: Outlook: 01-01-2008 00:00 Webinterface: 18-02-2009 11:12 Example email 2: Outlook: 17-07-2009 09:02 Webinterface: 30-01-2009 12:47 The connector is "Synchronized" completely. It's a big mailbox, the local FDB cache is over 20,4 MB. I have tried removing the bindings to the GFI account in Outlook, deleting the cache and waiting for a new sync. It makes no difference. There are several hundreds of emails that show up this way, in multiple subfolders, and with multiple users. What might be the reason?

I got the same problem over here. My version of the outlook connector is 6.1.166.29312 en the build number is 20090616. I found something strange in the headers. I found both these headers with the function in the archiver webinterface named "View e-mail Header". This e-mail is showing wright in the webinterface as also in the outlook connector: X-Owner: x.xxxxxx@xxxxx.nl X-GFI-Folder: Energie|Aeolis 0000000051F3774E93C8B14483025B11A0DE042582800000|0000000051F3774E93C8B14483025B11A0DE0425A2800000 x-thread-index: 01C94EE6E650C854A6DDB40B47938F8625FFBE5A9650 Thread-topic: Stilstand/beschikbaarheid turbines Received: from HS001.XXXXXXXX.local ([10.0.50.1]) by HS002.XXXXXXXX.local with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.1830); Tue, 25 Nov 2008 11:16:36 +0100 From: "Person Name" <xxxxx@xxxx.nl> To: "Person Name" Subject: Stilstand/beschikbaarheid turbines Date: Tue, 25 Nov 2008 12:16:34 +0200 Message-ID: <492BD082.8030604@XXXXX.nl> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative;boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0000_01CA48CB.A235DB80" X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook 11.0 Thread-Index: AclO5uZQyFSm3bQLR5OPhiX/vlqWUA== X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.3790.4325 This e-mail is showing wright in the webinterface, but not in the outlook connector: X-Owner: x.xxxxx@xxxxxxx.nl X-GFI-Folder: Energie|Aeolis 00000000E1001735132F6E4E906567B4F78AAE38E2800000|00000000E1001735132F6E4E906567B4F78AAE3802810000 x-thread-index: 01C7A298AB4CF3A8A9C3CD544B349640FF66DDE6A554000232C1800005E187D0 Thread-topic: concept Pilot studie From: "Person Name" Sender: "Person Name" To: "Person Name","'Person Name'" <xxxx@xxxxxxxx.nl>,"'Person Name'" <xxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.nl> Subject: RE: concept Pilot studie Date: Wed, 30 May 2007 14:50:05 +0200 Message-ID: <A800A780B9194A4CBC6606E9A05B69AD696CF5@es01w2k3.xxxxxxxxxxxx.local> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed;boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0028_01CA48D3.3CE91CD0" X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook 11.0 Thread-Index: AceimKtM86ipw81USzSWQP9m3ealVAACMsGAAAXhh9A= X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.3790.4325 In-Reply-To: <A800A780B9194A4CBC6606E9A05B69AD62C221@es01w2k3.xxxxxxxxx.local> When you see these headers, you can see that with the mail that is showing wright in the connector and the webinterface has an Received thing.. The mail that is'nt showing right in the connector and is showing right in the webinterface; does not have an Received thing.. Both these mails were archived from a pst file. And both mails er at a good send and received state in the pst file. The problem does not exist in the pst file. The problem comes when you archive it in to GFI mailarchiver. The headers are the same in the pst file. GFI did something strange with archiving i think.
