Outlook Service GetMessage returning error Wednesday, October 17, 2018 3:04 PM (permalink)
I have a service account that can access about 40 archived email boxes back from 2013 to present. I'm able to use the Search Web Service and use PerformQuery() to get simple messages returned to me using GetMessage(). I used the C# example provided in the API Examples section.

However, when using Outlook Service GetMessage() and pass in the connection and message Id, it's returning an "Access is denied"
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Access is denied.   at MArc.WebServices.Outlook.GetMessage(String connectionId, Int32 messageId)

I need to pull the body of the email but I can't figure out how to get around this error. This service account has full access. Is there something else I'm missing? Does the API not allow to go back so far?
