When using an USB device and you copy files from or to the device, you can see in the reports which files
are copied to or from this device.
However when I burn a cdrom and i put several files on the cdrom I can not see in the logging which files have been copied to the cdrom.
I only see that the nero.exe is accessed several times but I can not see which files it has burned.

Is this normal because we like to see which files are beiing copied.

greetings,

Jacob

Currently, both Nero and Roxio appear to have this trouble.  If you use windows to burn the cd-rom do you see the reports?  Our quality metrics team is aware of the issue and, as far as I am aware, will be corrected in the next release of GFI EndPointSecurity.

Ok, I have tried to copy 4 files to cd with the explorer from within windows.
I get 9 records in my report.
The first two is init.exe for loggin on to the system or when opening the explorer and to see if my floppy and cdrom are available..
Those 2 records is not something I like to see back in my reports.

After that I have 7 records from the explorer.exe accessing my cdrom player.
But none of them are recording the file it has copied.

When there is going to get a solution for this in the next update, I'd like to see only the 4 records of the 4 files which are beiing copied to this cd. If this can be narrowed down by a filter is fine with me, but like now there is just to much info.

In what time can we expect an update like this ?

greetings

I do not have an estimated time when the next build of GFI EndPointSecurity will be released.
