Hi there, i've just installed Faxmaker version 12 (latest build from site). whenever i try to send a fax via netprintqueue2fax i receive the following error in my mailbox:
********************************************************* ADMINISTRATOR REPORT *********************************************************

Hi,
Give full NTFS permissions to the Everyone group on the FAXmaker server directory. This should help in solving the problem.
Should the issue persist, please do the following test: 1. Stop the FAXmaker Message Transfer Agent and FAXmaker Fax Server services. 2. Send a fax that reproduces the problem 3. Zip up the files in <FAXmaker\sinkdrop> directory 4. Start the FAXmaker Message Transfer Agent service 5. Check if there are files in the FAXmaker\Out directory. Zip up these files. 6. Start the FAXmaker fax server service, and confirm that the problem is reproduced.
Please send me the files gathered in steps (3) and step (5)
Repeat the steps above however send the fax from Outlook and send me all files to support@gfi.com.

I'm having the same problem.
I think the problem is about the user "invitado" that appear in the next log:
File: prntctrl.gfi_log.txt

2005-11-10,09:18:34,468,1,"#00000730","#000009f8","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::createadminmessage _ copyfile failed." 2005-11-10,09:18:34,468,1,"#00000730","#000009f8","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ createadminmessage failed." 2005-11-10,09:18:34,468,1,"#00000730","#000009f8","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ npq system not enabled." 2005-11-10,17:55:49,040,1,"#000002d4","#00000e38","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::checksender _ m_pfmgfidb->resolvetouseridex(..., Invitado) failed." 2005-11-10,17:55:49,087,1,"#000002d4","#00000e38","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ checksender failed." 2005-11-11,09:02:09,546,1,"#00000d80","#00000d64","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::checksender _ m_pfmgfidb->resolvetouseridex(..., Invitado) failed." 2005-11-11,09:02:09,593,1,"#00000d80","#00000d64","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ checksender failed." 2005-11-11,09:33:44,078,1,"#00000af8","#0000085c","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::checksender _ m_pfmgfidb->resolvetouseridex(..., Invitado) failed." 2005-11-11,09:33:44,078,1,"#00000af8","#0000085c","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ checksender failed." 2005-11-11,09:49:21,328,1,"#00000f10","#00000f7c","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::checksender _ m_pfmgfidb->resolvetouseridex(..., Invitado) failed." 2005-11-11,09:49:21,328,1,"#00000f10","#00000f7c","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ checksender failed." 2005-11-11,09:52:23,140,1,"#000009e0","#00000ae8","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::checksender _ m_pfmgfidb->resolvetouseridex(..., Invitado) failed." 2005-11-11,09:52:23,140,1,"#000009e0","#00000ae8","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ checksender failed." 2005-11-11,09:54:56,015,1,"#00000a4c","#000005b8","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::checksender _ m_pfmgfidb->resolvetouseridex(..., Invitado) failed." 2005-11-11,09:54:56,015,1,"#00000a4c","#000005b8","error ","prntctrl","cprntctrlapp::initinstance _ checksender failed."
I think the question is, what we have to do to indentify the real sender of the fax.
As soon as I created the user "invitado" in faxmaker users the error 1900 desapears, and the faxes was sent.
Then, a new problem appears. If a fax has an error, the message of error never arrives to the original sender. Arrives to invitado@domain.com
I'm working in "work group" not in Domain.
Sorry for my english. [ November 11, 2005, 04:12 AM: Message edited by: mmto60 ]

I have the same issue "1900 : NetPrintQueue2Fax module error. A fax job was submitted but the sender cannot be found." , in your netprintqueue to fax instructions you state, "you must ensure that the User login name is configured to be the same as their network login name." What exactly does this mean? I'm using the SMTP Faxmaker server not the Network version, Will the Netprintqueue2fax module work for this version, if so how do I configure it.
