We used to have our system temp folder set on C drive 23GB free - sometimes GFI Archive would go offline with no apparent reason, sometimes we'd get disk getting full warnings (regardless of whether we had index immediately or once every 1/2 hour).

Moving the system TEMP and TMP to a different partition on the same drive which had 94GB free stopped this behaviour.
