Hello all,

I am running a new test environment right now with MailArchiver 6.1 and Exchange 2007.

I noticed when I move an email from the "Sent Items" folder to another folder, it does not seem to make the same change in my archive, as it just seems to stay in "Sent Items". Is there a reason that this would happen? Received email seems to sync fine after I move them around.

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.

Most probably the email you are moving was sent from Outlook in cached mode.

Such an email will not move from folder to another since the actual sent message and the message in the mailbox have different Message IDs. If you disable cached mode then emails sent from that time on will have the same message id.

Ah, yes. That seemed to fix it when I disabled caching. So I take it I need to keep it like this for all users if they want there items to sync correctly? Thanks for your help.

Yes exactly. You can still use the Cached mode but emails that are sent will not be synchronized from the sender's side and will remain in the Sent Items folder.
