Hi, Why under all the Applies to Tabs, there is no exclusion option !!!! Example in ISA Server, for users , we can apply the rule for a group, and also we can exclude this rule from being applied to certain users !!! Why this is missed in GFI 2009 ??? although it been asked since 4.0 and when i started testing this software and saw this missing feature, it will be useless to use GFI 2009 !!

Thanks for your feedback Tarek, we'll put forward your feature request so as to be considered for future releases of GFI WebMonitor. Thanks

Hi Chris, At the time being.. most of my clients are not welling to change their Active Directory structure ( Group Member ship etc.... ) just to make it work with GFI WM2009. For example they want to apply a policy for Domain Users Group.... but at the same time they want to exclude few groups and users.... With the current GFI WM2009 This can not be done !! Looking forward for this to be implemented.

For now what they can do is create different policies. For example you create a webfiltering policy which blocks 'News and Media' for Group1 which has 5 users...say user1 till user5, and you want to exclude user3 from this policy. What you will need to do in order to exclude user3 is create another rule for user3 and have 'News and Media' not blocked. This is like a workaround for your situation. If you have any problems please let us know. Thanks.
