We'd like to migrate our "reporting" from Access to SQL Server.

Is it possible to do this? If so, what is the recommended path ... using the SQL Server Upsizing tool or are we better off creating a blank SQL Server db?

We do not recommend that you migrate your data from MS Access to Microsoft SQL. You should create and configure the Microsoft SQL database.

Thanks. Can I just go ahead and change the settings in the configuration to a blank database or is there another process I should run to setup the SQL db.

Yes, you need to create the MSSQL DB first. Please review the manual for the necessary step: http://support.gfi.com/manuals/en/msec10/msec10manual.1.79.html#9001339
